Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Life Enrichment Aide to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to residents in our assisted living and memory care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors. This role involves facilitating engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and overall well-being among residents.

Duties

Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to ensure their comfort and dignity.
Foster a positive environment by encouraging social interaction among residents.
Provide support for individuals with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met during activities.
Collaborate with nursing staff and caregivers to develop individualized care plans that incorporate life enrichment goals.
Maintain schedule management for activities, ensuring timely execution and participation.
Document resident participation and progress in activities, reporting any changes in behavior or health to appropriate staff.

Requirements

Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings is preferred.
Background in Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, or memory care is highly desirable.
Knowledge of recreational therapy practices is a plus.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience working with people with disabilities is beneficial.
Previous caregiving experience is an asset.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
