About the Role
We are seeking a Clinical Practice Administrator who thrives in a fast-moving, high-touch healthcare environmentand can seamlessly blend clinical support with operational leadership.
This is not your typical administrative role—you will be central to keeping the practice running efficiently while supporting both patients and providers in a deeply relational care model.
Key Responsibilities
Practice Operations & Coordination
- Oversee daily workflow, scheduling, and efficiency of the practice
- Support Dr. Schulman with daily tasks as needed
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supply tracking
- Coordinate patient onboarding and intake processes
- Track and follow up on referrals, consult notes, and outside records
Clinical & Lab Support
- Perform phlebotomy (blood draws)
- Manage lab ordering, tracking, and chart integration
- Ensure results are reviewed, documented, and communicated to Dr. Schulman
- Assist with and learn point-of-care testing
Patient Communication & Experience
- Handle phone calls, messages, and timely callbacks
- Provide outstanding patient communication and service in a high-access care model
- Assist with triage and patient flow coordination
- Support prescription refill workflows (queueing scripts, requests)
- Support growth of the business with processes and efficiency build out
Administrative & Clinical Coordination
- Manage prior authorizations (PAs) and navigate insurance complexities when needed
- Process order requests and pickups
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure continuity of care workflows

Qualifications
Required:
- RN, LPN, OR MA certification
- Phlebotomy experience (required/ will train the right person)
- Experience with lab workflows and/or point-of-care testing
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Experience with triage and clinical coordination
Preferred:
- Previous experience in primary care or outpatient setting
- Familiarity with insurance processes and prior authorizations
- Ability to navigate the complexities of traditional healthcare systems while supporting a DPC model
