Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to lead our hospitality team to new heights. This pivotal role requires a passionate leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in team management, and is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the driving force behind daily operations, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant management, ensuring smooth service, high-quality food standards, and operational excellence. Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and high standards of service
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled team
Oversee food preparation, baking processes, and food safety protocols to maintain quality standards
Utilize POS systems such asToast POS and R365 system for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory control
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform regular cash handling audits
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability
Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth transitions between team members during busy hours
Conduct staff performance evaluations and provide ongoing training on customer service, food handling, and safety procedures
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings
Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation practices

Skills

Extensive experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments
Strong knowledge of food preparation, baking techniques, and kitchen management
Proficiency with POS systems including Toast POS and R365 system for sales processing and inventory management
Proven ability in supervising teams, conducting interviews, and leading staff training initiatives
Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts effectively
Deep understanding of food safety management, food handling procedures, and sanitation standards
Skilled in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence
Experience in managing budgets, performing profit & loss analysis, and implementing cost control measures
Familiarity with bar operations or coffee/barista experience is advantageous for diverse restaurant settings
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and food production processes
