For years, we've continued to deliver a unique, fun and comfortable dining experience in Fair Haven. We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hostess/Busser/Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience. This role involves welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements, and assisting with food service duties.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage the flow of guests in the dining area, coordinating with servers to optimize seating efficiency.
- Assist servers by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and delivering food orders as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide helpful information about menu items and specials.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure timely service and address any guest needs or concerns.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food service operations; experience with computer point-of-sale is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
