With a commitment to excellence and a focus on innovation, we have established ourselves as a leader in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team and lead our warehouse operations.

Job Description:

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse facility. You will manage a team of warehouse staff, coordinate inventory control, implement safety procedures, and ensure the smooth flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of warehouse operations, and a proven track record of optimizing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Supervise and lead a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and implementing appropriate control measures.
Coordinate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination of warehouse activities.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing health and safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety.
Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations, such as layout optimization, automation, and technology integration.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess warehouse performance and take corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with vendors and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery.
Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and cost control measures.
Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to warehouse management.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, preferably in commercial playground equipment or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and documentation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Forklift certification and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.
Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
