Overview
Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where your dedication and empathy will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. This vital role offers the opportunity to provide personalized, in-home support to individuals across various age groups and health conditions. As an In Home Caregiver, you will deliver essential assistance that promotes independence, comfort, and well-being in a familiar environment. We are committed to creating a supportive, engaging work environment that values your skills and compassion.

Duties

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and safety.
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster positive relationships and reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation.
Support medication management by reminding clients of medication schedules and assisting with proper administration when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and maintaining a clean living space to promote health and hygiene.
Monitor clients’ health status by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
Coordinate transportation for appointments, errands, or social activities to help clients stay connected with their community.
Follow care plans meticulously and document services provided to ensure continuity of care and compliance with agency standards.

Experience

Previous experience providing in-home care or support for elderly or disabled individuals is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of personal care techniques including mobility assistance, hygiene support, and medication reminders.
Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, post-acute care patients, or individuals with chronic conditions such as those requiring Level II trauma center or hospital medicine expertise.
Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures, outpatient clinics, sub-acute care settings, or teaching hospital environments is advantageous.
Familiarity with emergency response protocols and experience supporting clients in crisis situations enhances your ability to deliver safe, effective care.
Excellent communication skills combined with patience and compassion are essential for building trust and rapport with clients.
