Overview
Join our friendly team as a Donations Processing Clerk, where your attention to detail and organizational skills will play a vital role in supporting our mission. In this critical role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing incoming donations, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining meticulous records. Your proactive approach will help streamline donation processing, support donor relations, and contribute to the overall success of our ministries. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your administrative and clerical skills within a mission-driven environment.

Duties

Receive and accurately document all incoming donations, including cash, checks, and in-kind items
Verify donation details against donor records and update databases promptly using data management tools
Prepare donation receipts and acknowledgments for donors in accordance with organizational policies
Organize and maintain physical and digital records of donations for audit readiness and reporting purposes
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of donations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Assist with inventory control by tracking donated items, ensuring proper storage, and updating stock records
Support the broader administrative team by handling related clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Type 40-wpm and use 10-key with 98% accuracy
Data entry experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to adhere to the highest standards of discretion and confidentiality
Position requires driver’s license and clean criminal background and credit check
