Patient Treatment & Financial Coordinator
Fairborn, OH · Full-Time · On-site · $18–$22/hr base (DOE) + uncapped monthly bonus
Once our doctor and team have helped a patient decide on their care, you're the person who helps them make it happen. You present the cost simply, walk them through how to pay, and — when they choose monthly payments — sit with them and complete the financing application right there on our lender portal, from the soft credit check through approval (and calmly try the next option if one declines).
These are significant investments, often several thousand dollars, so it's a warm, human conversation — your job is to make a big decision feel manageable, never to pressure anyone.
You also keep every opportunity alive: following up with overdue and unscheduled patients, and answering the calls, texts, and emails from our marketing to get patients booked.
You'll watch the practice's daily and monthly numbers with us and take real ownership of moving them.
This is not cold sales, and not financial advising. The clinical "why" is handled before you sit down, and the lender makes the credit decision. You're the calm, organized, trustworthy person who guides good people through the cost and the paperwork.
What you'll do
- Present cost and the three ways to pay: personal funds/HSA, card, or monthly financing.
- Complete third-party financing applications with the patient on our lender portal.
- Follow up relentlessly with overdue and unscheduled patients, and bring them back.
- Answer inbound calls, texts, and emails and get patients scheduled.
- Run your pipeline, own your numbers in the morning huddle, and run our scripts (weekly coaching included).
You'll thrive here if
- You're a people person who's also comfortable with the money and the details.
- Warm, so patients trust you fast.
- Calm walking someone through a credit application — comfortable asking for income and personal details, and steady when one is declined.
- Organized, so follow-up never slips.
- You love owning a number — you treat the practice's monthly goal as your own and get real satisfaction from helping move it, by caring well and following through, never by pushing.
- Backgrounds that translate especially well: patient or healthcare financing, hospital or medical financial counseling, auto dealership F&I (finance & insurance), loan processing or personal banking, jewelry or other high-value retail financing, or treatment coordination in a specialty dental practice. Dental or medical front-desk and scheduling experience is a real plus on top of that — this role also answers phones and owns the schedule. Full dental experience isn't required.
This isn't for you if
You'd rather just process what walks in than take ownership of a goal, you want pure commission with no tie to the team, you'd find phones and follow-up beneath you, or you treat coaching and scripts as optional.
