Full Job Description

Position: Full-Time Mold Remediation Sales Associate & Estimator – Level II

Classification: Full-Time W-2 Employee

Compensation: $80,000 salary per year, plus monthly stipends for cell phone and health insurance. Two weeks paid vacation plus federal holidays.

Schedule: Full-Time

Location: In-Person Washington, DC Metro Area (DMV Travel, and throughout the Mid-Atlantic as we expand)

Reports to: Sales / CRM Coordinator

Start Date: As soon as possible

MoldCure <> is a rapidly growing mold sanitization company serving Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and Washington, DC. We specialize in non-invasive, same‑day mold remediation using EPA‑compliant dry fog technology that eliminates mold, bacteria, and viruses without demolition. Our mission is to deliver fast, safe, and effective solutions that restore healthy indoor environments for homeowners and businesses.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused Sales Associate & Estimator (Level II) to join our team. This in-person role combines field assessments, client communication, and sales responsibilities. You will conduct on‑site mold assessments, educate clients on remediation options, and close sales for our dry‑fog treatment services.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem‑solving, and building trust with customers. Prior sales experience is strongly valued. Prior mold remediation experience is not required—we provide full training, including industry certification.

Pay & Timekeeping:

Rate: $80,000 salary per year, plus stipends for cell phone and health insurance
Annual COL Adjustments: Provided each year
Pay: Every other week through direct deposit.

Advancement Path:

Level III - Senior Sales Associate ($86,000/year):
Demonstrates mastery of CRM workflows, assessment best practices, and consistent sales performance.
Regional Sales Manager ($92,000/year): demonstrates leadership, and manages a sales territory and team.

Work Requirements:

Client Intake and Scheduling:
Answer inbound calls through the CRM
Placing outgoing calls to leads
Qualify leads and schedule mold assessments
Maintain accurate records and manage follow-up tasks
Mold Assessments:
Conduct on-site assessments in residential and commercial environments
Use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and testing tools (air samples, moisture meters, InstaScope, etc.)
Navigate tight or challenging spaces safely
Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Maintain a valid driver’s license and safe driving record
Sales and Customer Communication:
Explain assessment findings clearly and professionally
Present remediation options and close sales in person
Build trust with clients through transparency and expertise
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Professional Standards:
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high-quality service

Work Environment:

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends; 40-45 hours/week
Driving: Up to 8 hours/day depending on project locations
Office Time: Required when not in the field
Travel: Primarily DMV; occasional Mid‑Atlantic travel
Conditions: Must be comfortable working in mold‑contaminated environments with PPE
