Full Job Description

Homewatch CareGivers of Loudoun provides care for individuals in their own homes. We care for all ages, assisting clients with a team of skilled care providers including Certified Nurse Aides, personal care assistants, and companions.

We operate in a dynamic environment, balancing dozens of clients and caregivers and round-the-clock schedules. In this role, you will work with clients, caregivers and the operations team to keep our business running smoothly. You are confident, comfortable working independently, have strong people skills. You are always even tempered, but firm when you need to be.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Registered Nurse, licensed in Virginia
Must pass background screening. License clear of infractions
Must be comfortable driving throughout Loudoun and western Fairfax Counties
Home care or home health experience highly desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word

Major Responsibilities

Conduct Client Assessments. Meet with new and prospective clients in their home and perform an evaluation of service needs. Sign and onboard new clients
Create Care Plans for new clients after evaluation and update Care Plans as needed
Work with Homewatch CareGivers Client Managers to assure your clients receive proper care
Review and approve caregiver tasks and care notes. Respond to client and caregiver issues on an as-needed basis
Perform Quality Assurance visits every two months (not less than every 90 days)
Assist with caregiver orientation, training, education and evaluation
Handle new-client intake calls, introduce prospective clients to services available; setup assessment date and time
Maintain skills and learn on an ongoing basis, adhere to local, state and federal policies.
Adhere to the policies and procedures of Homewatch CareGivers

Occasional weekend and evening visits may be required based on client need

We pay our Home Care RN's on a PRN basis. We cover all mileage between clients.

Pay: $40.00 - $52.50 per hour
