As the Head Pizza Chef, you will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining efficient kitchen workflows and adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the pizza kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive work environment focused on teamwork and excellence.
Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation align with brand standards.
Develop innovative pizza menus that incorporate current culinary trends while respecting traditional techniques.
Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
Implement and uphold food safety sanitizing procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations at all times.
Coordinate shift management, assigning tasks effectively to meet service demands during busy periods.
Ensure proper handling of ingredients, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness standards across the kitchen area.
Collaborate with the dietary department when necessary to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
Monitor food service operations during catering events or banquet functions to maintain quality standards.
Lead training initiatives for new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.

Experience

Proven supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment, preferably within fine dining or high-volume pizza kitchens.
Extensive culinary experience with a focus on pizza making, including dough preparation, toppings innovation, and cooking techniques.
Strong background in food industry practices such as inventory management, cost control, and food safety sanitizing procedures.
Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams as a chef or kitchen manager with excellent communication abilities.
Experience in banquet settings or catering events is highly desirable.
Knowledge of restaurant management systems and inventory control methods.
Familiarity with dietary accommodations and food handling regulations within the hospitality industry.
