Full Job Description

We are seeking energetic, organized, and dependable leaders to supervise our Before and After School Programs. Site Supervisors play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. This position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of an assigned school-age childcare site while ensuring high-quality programming and compliance with all licensing and organizational standards.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

4 Before & After School Site Supervisors serving programs in Lincoln Park and Pequannock (Pequannock includes three elementary school sites).
2 Before Care Site Supervisors in Kinnelon schools.
1 After Care Site Supervisor in Pompton Lakes.

Qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age or older
Preferred Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience.
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, school staff, and coworkers.

Essential Responsibilities

Provide leadership in implementing the organization's mission, policies, procedures, and youth development philosophy.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the daily operation of the assigned Before and/or After School Program.
Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Supervise, coach, evaluate, recognize, and support site staff.
Develop and maintain staff schedules while ensuring appropriate coverage.
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school personnel, and program administration.
Maintain accurate attendance, incident, and program documentation.
Ensure compliance with all state childcare licensing regulations and organizational policies.
Monitor program quality and implement engaging activities that support youth development.
Address behavioral concerns and resolve conflicts professionally and effectively.
Assist with program planning, supply management, and other administrative responsibilities as needed.
