Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Spanish and English speakers required, dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support immigration law practices by managing case files, preparing documentation, and assisting with client communications. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will ensure smooth case progression and compliance with immigration regulations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal expertise within a collaborative environment committed to excellence and client service.

Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions, applications, and related documents with government agencies
Conduct thorough legal research on immigration laws, policies, and procedures using tools such as Mycase
Manage case files through legal case management systems
Draft correspondence, affidavits, and supporting documentation for immigration cases with precision and clarity
Coordinate client interviews, gather necessary documentation, and maintain regular communication to facilitate case progress
Review legal documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with current immigration regulations
Support the team with administrative tasks including data entry, filing, document review, proofreading, transcription, and general clerical duties

Requirements

Spanish and English speakers required.
Paralegal certification or equivalent experience with a focus on immigration law preferred
Proven experience in legal research using MYCASE
Strong understanding of immigration law procedures and documentation requirements
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
Exceptional writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence clearly and professionally
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and client interactions
