Coleman Health Services has been selected to be part of OhioRISE to work with Multisystem Involved Youth and their families! If you want to make a difference, we want you on our team! We are seeking a Human Resources & Compliance Generalist to provide support to employees and managers in the CME/OhioRISE business unit on matters including employee relations, benefits, training, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employment law. This position is 100% in-office and based out of our Kent, Ohio, location.

What are we looking for from the HR Generalist (CME/OhioRISE)?

Recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding
- Create job postings, post to applicable sites
- Participate in recruiting events (e.g., career fairs, open interviews)
- Assist with screening and interviewing candidates
- Provide recruitment guidance and share recommendations for process improvements.
- Oversee candidates complete various required screenings and ensure all required paperwork is collected prior to hire and when onboarding
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring and onboarding process, and complete training letters.
HR leadership and support
- Advocate for employees and be a resource for both employees and managers
- Mediate differences between employees, and help managers improve their relationships with their employees
- Lead and conduct unbiased employee-related investigations
- Coordinate Company events
- Serve as front-line support to answer employees' HR-related questions (benefits, compensation, etc.)
Volunteer and Intern Coordination
Assist with compliance audits as necessary
Occasional to regular day travel to the various CME locations within Ohio
Other duties as assigned

What Qualifications will you need to be successful as a HR Generalist (CME/OhioRISE)?

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree
3 years of related HR experience with emphasis on recruitment/selection and employee relations
Creativity with finding qualified candidates
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Highly organized with a record of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Proficient in MS Office; and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preference given to the following candidates:

Have relevant Human Resources and Compliance experience in a healthcare setting
Master's degree in Human Resources Administration or related field
