Full Job Description

Great Harvest Bread Company is hiring an EARLY MORNING sweets & treats baker! We’re looking for hardworking, outgoing, friendly and fun people to join our growing family.

Are you passionate about creating delectable delights that bring joy to people's lives? Do you have a flair for turning simple ingredients into works of edible art? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a skilled and creative Sweets Baker to join our dedicated team and help us craft irresistible treats that will leave a lasting impression.

Position: Sweets Baker

Location: Green Hills, Tennessee

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of sweets, including cookies, muffins, brownies, etc.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation of all baked goods.
Maintain a clean and organized baking station, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Monitor inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, and place orders as needed.
Contribute to the overall success of the bakery by actively participating in special events, promotions, and customer interactions.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of basic measurements, baking techniques, ingredient functions, and recipe development.
Creative flair and attention to detail in decorating and presenting baked goods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Must be available to work early mornings and Saturdays
Formal culinary education or certification is a plus.

Pay is ranging from $14-$17 per hour depending on experience, and we’re looking for one full time position.

This position does require you to be there at 3:30am-10pm Tuesday through Saturday. Although, as you progress in speed most bakers will finish between 9am-10am.

We do require people who are over the age of 18 due to the federal safety laws surrounding some of the equipment we use. Please email your resume and a little something about yourself or stop by the store. We look forward to hearing from you!
