Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling a wide variety of gear boxes. These gear boxes are assembled using high quality components and following engineering designs. This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform efficiently all operations necessary to assemble, test and ship speed reducers

· Comply with all ISO 9001 assembly quality procedures

· Read and interpret assembly routers and drawings

· Able to place component parts into storage system

· Able to produce quality work and exercise judgment on quality acceptability

· Capable of performing at rates set by pre-determined time standards

· Able to perform in a team environment

· Required following all safety rules, use of proper PPE, and report any safety concerns

Experience and Education Required

· High school education or equivalent.

· Ability to effectively use basic hand tools.

· Ability to follow both verbal and written communication.

· Forklift Certified.

· Microsoft D365 Knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements

· Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 lbs continuously and 50 lbs occasionally.

· Requires standing continuously and walking occasionally throughout the day up to ten hours.
