We are seeking a highly skilled seasoned Insurance Defense Paralegal with the necessary experience looking to bring their expertise to a dynamic and supportive legal team. We’re looking for a paralegal who is a self-starter that can hit the ground running, manage complex caseloads, and contribute meaningfully to the team.
Our Insurance Defense Paralegals play a pivotal role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, from inception to trial. You’ll be handling a high-volume caseload, drafting key legal documents, managing discovery, and coordinating with clients and experts. You will be responsible for:
· drafting pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and legal correspondence
· summarizing medical records, discovery responses, depositions, and expert reports.
· assist in case preparation for mediations, hearings, and trials
· coordinate and management document productions
· communicate with clients, experts, and other law firms
Please apply only if you have the following:
· minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience in insurance defense litigation
· prior experience with billable hour requirements in a law firm setting and managing and recording billable hours
· strong knowledge of rules of civil procedure and litigation support
· proficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office, and Adobe
· excellent writing, communication, critical thinking, problem solving, and organizational skills
· ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
· paralegal certificate or equivalent experience
