About Us

Malchar Chiropractic & Wellness Center is a holistic practice dedicated to restoring health through chiropractic care, functional nutrition, regenerative therapies, and patient education. We prioritize a compassionate and patient-first approach, fostering a collaborative environment for both patients and staff.

We are currently seeking an Office & Chiropractic Assistant to serve as a key part of our team. This team member creates a positive experience for patients while serving as a compassionate, professional liaison between the doctor and patients, maintaining a calm, respectful, and patient-centered presence in all interactions. This hybrid role blends administrative, clinical support, and doctor assistance duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized, attentive, and deeply passionate about helping others achieve their wellness goals.

This is a part-time role, with hiring needs starting in August, for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons, and Friday mornings.

Position Overview

This multifaceted position includes responsibilities in the office, as a chiropractic assistant, and as an assistant to the doctor. You will play a crucial role in maintaining patient flow, supporting clinical care, assisting with office operations, and promoting a positive healing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Patient Relations

· Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism.

· Schedule and confirm appointments; assist with follow-ups.

· Educate patients on services, treatment plans, and office procedures.

· Answer phone calls and emails courteously and knowledgeably.

· Maintain a clean, welcoming reception and patient experience area.

· Ensure patient satisfaction and comfort from start to finish.

Administrative & Office Management

· Manage Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation, intake forms, and SOAP note entry in ChiroTouch.

· Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality.

Chiropractic & Clinical Assistance

· Assist the doctor during patient visits with therapy setup and patient positioning.

· Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a clean, organized clinical environment.

· Escort patients through therapy sessions, explaining care with compassion.

· Track and document treatment plans, rehab exercises, and patient responses.

· Help with StemWave™ mapping, laser therapy prep, or equipment organization (training provided).

Personal Assistant to the Doctor

· Support the doctor with daily operations, special projects, and patient flow efficiency.

· Relay messages, organize tasks, and follow up on patient inquiries as directed.

· Serve as a communication bridge between doctor, staff, and patients.

· Work in harmony with the office staff, clinical staff, and providers.

· Other duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

· Experience in a chiropractic, wellness, or holistic setting is highly preferred.

· Strong communication and multitasking skills.

· Proficiency with EHR software (ChiroTouch preferred) and Microsoft Office preferred.

· Ability to maintain a calm, helpful demeanor in a busy, fast-paced environment.

· Quick learner with initiative and excellent follow-through.
