Full Job Description

The Miriam Hospital is seeking to hire a full-time experienced Emergency Response Registered Nurse for the night shift!

Responsibilities: 

Responds to emergency situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Code Triage) as delegated by Nursing Leadership to provide critical care assessment and interventions to manage patients in decline until they can be transitioned to the appropriate level of care.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess, stabilize, and transition patients in clinical decline to appropriate levels of care (ICU, telemetry, etc)
Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, critical care standards, and advance assessment skills.

Qualifications: 

Registered Nurse in the state of Rhode Island, or compact state licensure in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, candidates actively enrolled in BSN program may be considered
3+ years of critical care experience required
Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) or Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) preferred. Minimum three years of current clinical experience in critical care nursing, including cardiac arrests and clinical emergencies in a hospital setting.
