Duties and Responsibilities

a. Manage day-to-day hardware logistics operations supporting engineering development and integration activities.
b. Receive, inspect, inventory, label, store, track, and distribute hardware assets.
c. Maintain accurate inventory records for development systems, test equipment, components, and customer-deliverable hardware.
d. Coordinate hardware allocation and availability with engineering teams, program managers, and Government customers.
e. Support configuration management and asset accountability processes for hardware systems and associated peripherals.
f. Install, configure, update, and maintain software, manage firmware on engineering and customer hardware systems.
g. Coordinate shipment, transportation, and delivery of hardware to customer sites, test facilities, and operational locations.
h. Track hardware repairs, warranty actions, replacements, returns, and vendor support activities.
i. Identify and coordinate supply chain sources for hardware components, replacement parts, and engineering materials.
j. Assist with procurement activities including vendor coordination, parts research, quote requests, and order tracking.
k. Maintain warehouse organization, material handling procedures, and storage accountability.
l. Support Government property management and asset tracking requirements when applicable.
m. Generate reports and maintain records related to inventory status, asset utilization, hardware movement, and material shortages.
n. Ensure compliance with company procedures, customer requirements, and security policies involving hardware and controlled equipment.
Required Qualifications

a. Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering Technology, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
b. 5+ years of experience supporting logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, or hardware lifecycle management.
c. Experience maintaining inventory databases and tracking systems.
d. Familiarity with hardware configuration management and asset accountability practices.
e. Experience coordinating hardware shipments, repairs, and vendor interactions.
f. Basic technical understanding of computer systems, networking equipment, embedded hardware, or electronic systems.
g. Ability to install and configure software on engineering or operational systems.
h. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
i. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Outlook.
Desired Qualifications

a. Experience supporting DoD, Navy, Air Force, or other Government engineering programs.
b. Familiarity with Government property management requirements and accountability procedures.
c. Experience with ERP, inventory management, or asset tracking systems.
d. Familiarity with configuration management principles and technical baseline control.
e. Experience supporting hardware integration laboratories or engineering development environments.
f. Knowledge of electronic components, test equipment, and embedded systems hardware.
g. Experience working in classified or controlled environments.
