Full Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Veterinary Practice Manager Assistant to support the daily administrative operations of our busy veterinary practice. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service while keeping office operations running smoothly. The successful candidate will assist with clerical duties, data entry, and front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.
Greet clients and assist with general inquiries.
Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records.
Assist with filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents.
Schedule appointments and help manage the daily appointment calendar.
Support the Practice Manager with administrative and clerical tasks.
Process paperwork, correspondence, and reports.
Maintain confidentiality of client and patient information.
Assist with inventory records and other office projects as assigned.
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and support to the veterinary team.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of horses and horse industry required.
Previous administrative, receptionist, or clerical experience preferred.
Veterinary or medical office experience is a plus but not required.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
