Full Job Description

Seeking applications for a full-time position as Front Desk Medical Receptionist in Moorhead, MN. We are a three doctor clinic with optical and a wonderful staff of experienced and cross-trained employees. Our new clinic location opened in March 2025.

Training will be provided on-site; previous medical or healthcare experience is helpful, but not required. You must have a great personality and be eager to learn and help patients/customers to ensure high quality customer service as they enter or exit the clinic and over the phone or text messages for scheduling appointments or answering questions. You will ensure a smooth flow of customers through the clinic and optical. You will obtain and document patient demographics and insurance information through phone calls and texts. You will confirm appointments and help fellow staff to verify insurance eligibility. You'll also collect payments. You will help order contact lenses, and also some re-ordering of eyewear. Cross-training throughout the clinic is expected.

Applicants should be detailed-oriented with strong communication (spoken and written, interpersonal and phone and text) and computer skills, friendly and welcoming personalities, a huge smile, and the ability to multitask with other clinical/office tasks. Convenient weekday clinic hours with no evenings. We emphasize that as a small business, we need a reliable individual who can work 40 hours/week. Starting hourly pay is dependent upon experience and pay will increase as your skill set increases.
