Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & Systems Engineer to support, maintain, and strengthen our organization's network and IT infrastructure.
This position is responsible for ensuring reliable network connectivity, system performance, security, documentation, and overall network resiliency. The Senior Network & Systems Engineer will also help design and implement new systems, provide advanced technical support, configure hardware, and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
This is a hands-on, in-office position within an EOS-driven organization. We are looking for someone who is highly accountable, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and is comfortable identifying what needs to be done and moving projects forward without constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, engineer, and implement new network and IT systems based on business needs.
- Develop implementation plans, system designs, and supporting technical documentation.
- Maintain reliable, secure, and resilient network infrastructure.
- Provide Level II technical and production support to help desk staff and end users.
- Troubleshoot complex network, system, hardware, and connectivity issues.
- Perform physical installation and configuration of network and IT hardware.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and projects.
- Independently analyze technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from planning through completion.
- Collaborate with IT team members and other departments to support organizational goals.
- Participate in EOS-related meetings, accountability processes, goal setting, and team initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reliability, efficiency, and security.
- Assist with special projects and additional IT responsibilities as needed.
The original position specifically requires independent judgment and notes that routine work and decisions generally do not require immediate supervisor direction.

- 4+ years of Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, or related infrastructure experience
- Associate degree or two-year college equivalent required
- Strong network and systems troubleshooting experience
- Experience installing and configuring network and IT hardware
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, connectivity, security, and system reliability
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Ability to independently identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach
- Strong accountability and follow-through
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with limited supervision
- Comfortable working within an EOS operating environment
- Ability and willingness to work 100% on-site in the West Fargo office
The formal job description requires an associate degree or equivalent, prefers a bachelor's degree in a related IT field, and calls for at least four years of Systems Engineer experience.
Ideal Personality & Work Style
We're especially interested in someone who:
- Takes initiative rather than waiting to be told what to do
- Has a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Enjoys solving difficult technical problems
- Follows projects through from start to finish
- Communicates proactively with teammates and leadership
- Can prioritize competing demands independently
- Is comfortable being held accountable to measurable goals
- Works well in a collaborative, EOS-driven environment
- Is approachable and able to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical employees
- Looks for opportunities to improve systems and processes rather than simply maintaining the status quo
Work Schedule
This is a 100% in-office position in West Fargo, ND.
Standard hours are:
Monday–Friday | 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Because of the nature of IT infrastructure, some night, weekend, and on-call availability may occasionally be required for system implementations, maintenance, changes, or unexpected issues.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced network and systems professional who wants to take ownership of critical IT infrastructure, solve challenging technical problems, and play an important role within a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven organization.
