Scheduling & Customer Relations Specialist

Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-Time Preferred | Part-Time Considered
Hours: Monday–Friday, during normal business hours between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Work Location: In Person

We are seeking a personable, motivated, and organized Scheduling & Customer Relations Specialist to join an established home improvement company. This position plays an important role in connecting with prospective customers, scheduling appointments, answering questions, and creating a positive first impression.

The ideal candidate enjoys talking with people, is comfortable spending a significant amount of time on the phone, and is motivated by reaching goals and setting appointments.

Schedule

Full-time candidates are preferred.

For the right part-time candidate, scheduling can be flexible within normal operating hours of 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with a preference for approximately 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Compensation

$18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience
Additional performance-based earning potential
Performance incentives based on outbound calling and appointments set
Paid training

Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound customer calls
Make approximately 80–120 outbound calls per day
Contact prospective customers and follow up on leads
Schedule appointments for specialists to meet with homeowners regarding home improvement projects
Focus on converting customer inquiries and leads into scheduled appointments
Answer customer questions by phone, email, text, and in person
Maintain accurate customer and appointment information
Build positive relationships with customers through professional and consistent communication
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom and workspace
Occasionally attend in-person events to interact with customers and schedule appointments
Assist with additional administrative and office duties as needed

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience involving phone and/or in-person customer interaction
Call center, scheduling, appointment-setting, inside sales, or phone sales experience preferred
Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional and personable phone presence
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent computer skills
Familiarity with Microsoft applications, customer databases, and scheduling software
Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and programs simultaneously
Ability to quickly learn new software and processes
Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working toward performance goals
