Your role in our team

You will handle all aspects of design engineering work, including warranty design issues
You will review product design for compliance and engineering principles, company standards, and customer’s requirements
You will model purchase parts and custom parts using Pro/E
You will present system and the assemblies that make up the system to the customer
You will evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and drawing releases
You will create concepts, technical descriptions, and cost estimates, for retrofits and part changes
You will review technical requirement details to develop proposals that meet customer specifications
You will compile budgetary estimates for aftermarket projects in early planning phases, to facilitate customer budgeting processes
You will utilize ERP software to ensure accurate sales project & timeline forecasts are given when preparing proposals
You will attend sales, project review, design review, and factory acceptance testing meetings in support of retrofit and aftermarket projects
You will review and comment customer’s specifications
You will select third party equipment and component suppliers
You will work with third party suppliers to spec equipment

Your profile

You have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering required
You have experience in manufacturing environment with machining and mechanical assembly preferred
You must have a valid driver’s license and a record clear of poor violation convictions such as reckless driving or Driving Under the Influence (DUI/DWI) within the past three years or two or more at fault accidents within the past three years
You have a minimum of two years packaging design engineering experience required or equivalent
