Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and skilled Videographer to join our school's dynamic team. As the School Videographer/Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing and producing high-quality video content that showcases the vibrant and diverse activities within our educational community. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for storytelling, excellent technical proficiency, a passion for visual communication, and expertise in various media formats.

Responsibilities:

Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit video content that highlights various school events, activities, and initiatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, staff, and students to understand the vision and objectives of each project, ensuring the final product aligns with the school's values and goals.
Media Expertise: Utilize a variety of media formats, including but not limited to photography, drone footage, and 360-degree video, to enhance the visual storytelling experience.
Equipment Management: Maintain and operate video equipment, ensuring that all tools are in proper working condition. This includes cameras, lighting equipment, microphones, and editing software.
Editing: Edit raw footage into polished and engaging videos. Add appropriate music, graphics, and effects to enhance the overall production quality.
Portfolio Development: Showcase a strong portfolio of previous work that demonstrates proficiency in various video and media styles, such as event coverage, promotional videos, and immersive experiences.
Timeline Management: Meet project deadlines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Feedback and Revisions: Collaborate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to meet the desired outcome.
Working With the Director on Weekly Projects and uploading to all of our social media platforms.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional videography and media production experience, with a proven track record of creating compelling and visually appealing content.
Portfolio: A comprehensive portfolio showcasing a range of video and media projects, including event coverage, promotional videos, and immersive experiences.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating video cameras, audio equipment, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro). Familiarity with various media formats and tools.
Creativity: Ability to think creatively and visually translate concepts into engaging video and media content.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Time Management: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Compensation:
$23.50- $25 per hour. Hours may vary based on project needs and school events.
