Who We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a Laser Operator to operate and maintain laser cutting equipment used in the production of packaging, displays, and specialty products. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Operate laser cutting machines to cut and engrave materials according to job specifications
Set up machines, load materials, and adjust settings for production runs
Review digital cutting files and job tickets prior to production
Monitor machine performance and ensure clean, precise cuts
Inspect finished pieces to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report maintenance needs
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laser equipment
Follow production schedules and meet job deadlines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Assist with other production duties as needed

Required Skills/Abilities:

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous laser cutting, CNC, or manufacturing equipment operation experience preferred
Ability to read job tickets, production specs, and basic drawings
Familiarity with vector design files (AI, PDF, DXF, or similar) a plus
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to stand for extended periods
