Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, focusing on preventive medicine and the management of chronic conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The Primary Care Physician will be instrumental in promoting health and wellness within the community while addressing a wide range of medical issues.

Duties

Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring appropriate management plans are in place.
Provide preventive care services, including vaccinations, screenings, and health education.
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care effectively.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and encounter coding using electronic health systems.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Stay informed about advancements in pathology and treatment methodologies relevant to primary care.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution with board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Familiarity with medical office operations and patient management systems.
Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) protocols and procedures.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development in the field of primary care.
Ability to explain complex medical information in understandable terms for patients.
Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish).
