Compensation: $1,080-$1,152/wk
Description: A warm, intentional family in Farmington, MO, is seeking a full-time nanny/household manager to support their four homeschooled children. They value structure, strong communication, and a calm, enriching home environment where children are encouraged to learn, grow, and contribute to daily life. The family follows Missouri homeschool guidelines, with systems in place for daily tracking and compliance. The nanny will handle the day-to-day execution of the homeschool routine. Mom has a flexible schedule and may be home at times, but the nanny will take the lead in confidently managing the day-to-day flow of the household.
Children’s Personalities:
The children are actively engaged in homeschooling and extracurricular activities. The family fosters independence, responsibility, and curiosity and is looking for a nanny who can cultivate a positive, engaging learning environment while supporting each child’s individual development.
Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the homeschool routine using the BookShark curriculum (or collaborate with the family on alternative curriculum ideas).
- Ensure daily homeschool requirements are completed and documented (training provided by mom)
- Create a structured, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
- Manage the family calendar, including scheduling activities, locations, and associated details using the Skylight system
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the children, with a strong focus on whole foods (fruits, vegetables, and protein) and minimal processed foods; assist with family meals as time allows
- Order groceries and maintain household inventory
- Handle light household tasks such as loading/unloading the dishwasher and maintaining overall organization
- Support and guide children in completing their household responsibilities and chores
- Encourage independence while confidently overseeing older children
- Engage the youngest child in a preschool-style curriculum and incorporate them into daily routines
- Run occasional errands and assist with logistics for children’s activities
- Provide weekly photo updates with thoughtful descriptions to the family
- Proactively ensure homeschool materials and supplies (including science activities) are prepared and stocked
- Be open to occasional travel with the family
Ideal Candidate:
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Strong communicator who is confident managing a busy household
- Experience with homeschooling or educational support preferred (or a willingness to learn)
- Nurturing, patient, and able to balance structure with flexibility
- Comfortable taking initiative and managing the “behind-the-scenes” aspects of a home
- Passionate about creating a calm, engaging, and educational environment
- Comfortable driving children to activities, including trips to the St. Louis area
