Pay Rate: $16-$18 Per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Work Location: On-site at the Ozark Literacy Council office
Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday, 4:00–8:00 p.m. (approximately 12 hours per week)

Position Summary
The Student Services & Office Coordinator provides evening front desk coverage and supports OLC's Student Services & Data Department. This position assists students with enrollment and testing, supports student data and recordkeeping, and helps maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized office and learning environment. This is an on-site position and works under the direction of the Student Services & Data Manager.
Essential Responsibilities
Student Services & Front Desk
- Provide evening front desk coverage and welcome students, volunteers, and visitors.
- Answer phones, respond to questions, schedule appointments, and provide information about OLC programs and services.
- Assist with student intake, registration, orientation, and required documentation.
Student Assessment & Data Support
- Assist with student assessments and post-testing, including administering and scoring assessments when trained and assigned.
- Enter and update student information, attendance, assessments, and other required records in LACES, Connectable, and related systems.
- Assist with student follow-up and data collection for E&E, Table 4, Table 5, and other reporting needs as assigned.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student information.
Office & Shared-Space Upkeep
- Help maintain the front desk, classrooms, tutoring areas, library, copier area, kitchen, and shared spaces in a clean, organized, and professional condition.
- Complete routine upkeep, including organizing materials, managing dishes and trash, and preparing spaces for classes and activities.
- Monitor office and classroom supplies and report supply, facility, safety, or technology needs to appropriate staff.
Department & Team Support
- Follow established department procedures and direction from the Student Services & Data Manager.
- Communicate important student, data, and office information to the Manager.
- Collaborate with instructors, AmeriCorps members, volunteers, and other staff to support effective evening services.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and basic computer/data-entry skills.
- Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Previous customer service, front desk, education, nonprofit, or administrative experience preferred.
- Experience working with adult learners and culturally diverse populations preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred.
