Position Title: Sales & Order Entry Representative
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $48,000–$50,000 per year
Location: Fayetteville

Join Our Team
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales & Order Entry Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing orders, providing sales support, and learning about specialized products. If you have strong communication skills, excel at multitasking, and take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you.
Our company specializes in architectural millwork, hardwood products, mouldings, carvings, tambour panels, and custom wood solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping guide projects from initial quotation through final shipment.
Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and enthusiastically.
Respond to customer emails and online inquiries promptly.
Prepare accurate product quotations and pricing information.
Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Follow orders from quotation through production, shipment, and delivery.
Assist customers with product selection, specifications, pricing, and availability.
Resolve customer questions and concerns with patience and professionalism.
Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and other internal departments.
Maintain accurate customer records and order documentation.
Follow up on outstanding quotes and customer requests.
Build long-term customer relationships through exceptional service.
Identify opportunities to recommend complementary products and increase sales.

Sales Support Skills

Prepare quotations accurately and efficiently.
Process customer orders with a high degree of accuracy.
Understand pricing structures and product options.
Follow up on open quotes and sales opportunities.
Maintain detailed customer interaction records.
Upsell products and services when appropriate.

Preferred Experience

2–5 years of customer service, order entry, inside sales, or sales support experience.
Experience within building materials, architectural products, millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, construction, or manufacturing industries preferred.
Experience reading product specifications, blueprints, or architectural drawings is a plus but not required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.

Technical Curiosity Required
The ideal candidate must enjoy learning technical products and be comfortable becoming knowledgeable about hardwood species, mouldings, carvings, tambour panels, dimensions, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
