Contract Painter – Apartments (Temporary Contract Position)
Pay: Competitive Contract Rates $1000-$1500 per week (Based on Experience and Production)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced OR trainable, dependable contract painters to assist with our annual student housing turn. This is a high-intensity, fast-paced project requiring individuals who can produce quality work while meeting aggressive deadlines. Majority will be "touch paints" will be divided by bedrooms and common areas. Paid Per Bedroom and Per Common Area Completed!
The student housing turn season is a critical period where hundreds of apartments must be prepared for incoming residents in a short timeframe. Contractors must be self-motivated, efficient, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Interior painting of apartment homes and common areas
- Wall preparation, patching, sanding, and caulking as needed
- Painting walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and touch-up work
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Complete assigned units according to project schedules
- Identify and report maintenance concerns discovered during unit preparation
- Work effectively alongside maintenance and housekeeping teams
Requirements | Preferences
- Previous residential or multifamily painting experience (Preferred, NOT Required)
- Experience with apartment turns strongly preferred
- Ability to maintain quality workmanship under tight deadlines
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders when necessary
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability are essential
