About the Role

Landmark Inn, located on Fort Liberty, is seeking a highly motivated Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in the daily operation of the hotel. This leadership position is ideal for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence.

The Assistant General Manager plays a critical role in achieving hotel performance goals through strong leadership, financial accountability, team development, and outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be comfortable wearing multiple hats and working collaboratively with both on-site staff and the corporate office.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the day-to-day management of all hotel operations.
Lead, coach, and develop front desk and housekeeping teams to deliver exceptional guest service.
Support revenue growth by helping achieve occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability goals.
Maintain high standards for guest satisfaction, quality assurance, asset protection, and associate engagement.
Manage front desk operations, including:
Guest check-in/check-out
Group and VIP reservations
Room inventory management
Staff scheduling
Understand and support Night Audit and Accounts Receivable functions.
Coordinate with the corporate office on Human Resources, payroll support, Accounts Payable, and administrative matters.
Monitor operating results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and applicable regulations.
Foster a positive, professional work environment focused on teamwork and accountability.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hotel management or supervisory experience, preferably in a full-service or select-service hotel.

Strong working knowledge of:

Front Office Operations
Housekeeping Operations
Accounting and financial reporting
Human Resources
Sales and revenue management
Ability to interpret financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and operational reports.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is preferred.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
