Job Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Certified Pool Operator and Facility Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and operational excellence of our aquatic facilities. This energetic position combines technical expertise with proactive maintenance to deliver a top-tier experience for our guests. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for overseeing pool operations, performing routine inspections, and maintaining facility systems to uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.

Duties

Conduct regular pool inspections to ensure water quality, chemical balance, and safety compliance using water treatment chemicals and testing equipment
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of pools, decks, filtration systems, and surrounding areas to maintain pristine conditions
Handle pool plumbing systems, including repairs and troubleshooting of pipes, valves, pumps, and filters using hand tools and power tools
Maintain mechanical systems such as pumps, heaters, chlorinators, and circulation equipment to ensure optimal operation
Respond promptly to maintenance requests or equipment failures by diagnosing issues and executing repairs efficiently
Manage chemical agent handling with strict adherence to safety protocols for water treatment chemicals
Document maintenance activities, chemical usage logs, and safety inspections accurately for compliance purposes

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or equivalent credential demonstrating expertise in pool management and water chemistry
Proven experience in service technician roles or facility maintenance with a focus on pools or water systems
Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and related equipment
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during repairs and routine maintenance tasks
Knowledge of chemical handling procedures specific to water treatment agents used in pools
Experience with pool cleaning techniques including skimming, brushing, vacuuming, and filter backwashing
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
