The Registrar's Assistant is responsible for processing and maintaining academic records and student information associated with registration activities in an institution of higher education. Respond to student request in a professional and timely manner. Other duties as assigned.
This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
At least two years of experience in general office work with an emphasis in records management, student registration, or a related area
Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to type and use 10 key
Ability to explain and interpret policies and procedures
Ability to maintain student academic records
Ability to compile information into report form
Ability to answer multiple line phone system
