Full Job Description

Overview
Thomas Solutions Incorporated is dedicated to providing support to the Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC) and their mission to conducts individual and collective training for the USASOC operating and generating force to prepare Special Operations Forces (SOF) to successfully operate across the full spectrum of operations.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Service Support Subject Matter Expert (Mission Command Exercises) .

Education Requirement:

Associate degree.
Five years of related military experience may substitute for academic degrees.
Or two years of experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing Mission Command Exercises may substitute for academic degree.

Qualifications Requirement:

Graduate of a U.S. Military Officers Education System course above entry level training i.e., Captain Career Course, Intermediate Level Education, Basic Warrant Officer Course, Warrant Officer Advance Course, or equivalent.
Or graduate from one of the following U.S. military Noncommissioned Officer Education System courses: Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, First Sergeant Course or Sergeants Major Course.
Has ability to formulate and integrate exercise scenarios into the SOMTC training environment or exercise.

Experience:

Assignment to Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, Military Information Support Operations, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, Special Mission units), or assignment to one of the following:
Military Intelligence, Logistics Corps, Field Artillery. (Equivalent assignments within other Department of War military branches apply).
One year of experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing Mission Command Exercises

Clearance Requirement:

Active Secret clearance.

Service Support Subject Matter Expert (Mission Command Exercises) Tasks:

The Contractor will design (framework), develop (content), script (interactions), and build (scenario) Mission Readiness Exercise(s) (MRX) for United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), 1st Special Forces Command (A), and other US Special Operations Forces.
The Contractor shall conduct eleven (11) MRXs annually. The Contractor shall prepare for each exercise to support one (1) O6 HQs, and up to four (4) O5 HQs.
The Contractor shall design, develop, script, and build one (1) new exercise framework designed to support one (1) O6 HQs, and up to two (2) O5 HQs at the start of each period of performance if required by SOMTC Director.
The Contractor shall conduct continuous exercise framework maintenance for four (4) exercise framework scenarios annually.
The Contractor shall complete two (2) exercise framework updates annually. The frameworks updates shall be approved by SOMTC Director.
The contractor shall develop, design, and facilitate realistic and comprehensive training exercises to enhance readiness, operational effectiveness, and adaptability to Multi-Domain Operations (MDO). These exercises shall integrate joint, interagency, and multinational capabilities to simulate complex operational environments.
