Full Job Description

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the legal field and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

**Duties:**

- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, copying, calendaring, and data entry

- Support attorneys with legal drafting and document preparation

- Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials

- File pleadings with various courts and agencies

- Maintain client files

- Communicate with clients, attorneys, court officials, and other agencies

- Handle confidential information with integrity

**Qualifications:**

- Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)

- Minimum 1 year experience in law firm or comparable

- Must have experience in legal drafting; domestic relations experience preferred

- Candidates must be available M-F 9:00-5:00

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Google Drive

- Ability to work independently with minimal required direction and oversight

- This job is not remote and requires in-person attendance

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
