HVAC LEAD INSTALL MANAGER — WE'RE LOOKING FOR A LEADER!

EXPERIENCED HVAC INSTALL LEADERS — THIS OPPORTUNITY IS FOR YOU!

Are you an experienced HVAC installer who is ready to take the next step into leadership?

Blackwell Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is looking for an HVAC Lead Install Manager who knows the trade, knows how to manage people, and knows what a quality installation should look like.

We're not looking for someone who simply wants to ride along and supervise.

We're looking for a leader who can take ownership of the installation department and make sure jobs are completed correctly, efficiently, professionally, and profitably.

If you know HVAC installation inside and out and are ready to lead a team, we want to talk to you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

As our HVAC Lead Install Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing our installation operations and installation crews.

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead and manage HVAC installation crews
Oversee residential and commercial HVAC installations
Review jobs before crews begin work
Ensure proper equipment, materials, and tools are available
Coordinate installation schedules and crews
Monitor job progress and completion
Ensure installations meet company standards and manufacturer specifications
Inspect completed installations for quality and accuracy
Assist installers with difficult technical issues
Troubleshoot installation problems in the field
Review equipment sizing, system configuration, and installation requirements
Ensure proper refrigerant piping, brazing, evacuation, condensate, ductwork, electrical, and low-voltage installation
Oversee system startups and verify proper operation
Identify and correct workmanship issues
Communicate with customers when necessary
Communicate with management regarding job progress and problems
Help train and develop installation technicians
Hold installation crews accountable for quality, productivity, cleanliness, and professionalism
Help control material usage and unnecessary job costs
Ensure jobs are completed on schedule
Maintain accurate installation documentation
Enforce company safety procedures and HVAC codes

WE NEED A LEADER — NOT JUST AN INSTALLER

The right candidate will be someone who can lead from the front.

You should be able to walk onto a jobsite and immediately recognize:

What's being done correctly
What's being done incorrectly
What materials are needed
What problems could delay the job
What needs to be corrected before startup
Whether the finished installation meets company standards

You should be comfortable teaching installers, correcting mistakes, making decisions, and holding your crew accountable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Significant hands-on HVAC installation experience
Proven experience leading HVAC installation crews
Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems
Experience with heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, and package units
Strong knowledge of refrigerant piping and brazing
Experience with system evacuation and startup
Strong understanding of HVAC electrical and low-voltage wiring
Knowledge of ductwork installation and modifications
Ability to read wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications
Ability to troubleshoot installation issues
Valid driver's license
Strong communication and organizational skills

EPA 608 certification preferred.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
