Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. A background in fine dining or catering is preferred, as we strive to provide an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring seasonal and fresh ingredients are utilized
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and sanitation practices are followed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Execute meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality presentation
Demonstrate excellent knife skills and cooking techniques in food preparation

Experience

Previous experience in a culinary role within the food industry is required
Familiarity with fine dining service standards and practices is preferred
Proven skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities
