Role Overview
We are currently looking for a Construction Assembler to join our team in Fenton, MI. This position is available across all shifts, operating primarily Monday through Friday, with additional weekend overtime hours scheduled based on production demands.
Work Schedule and Compensation

Voluntary Sunday shifts.
The compensation for this role ranges from $18 to $20.54 per hour.
Core Responsibilities

Construct walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs utilizing a variety of materials including wood, steel, metal, plastics, drywall, and composite materials.

Organize and measure materials according to project blueprints or direct guidance from your supervisor.

Utilize power saws, machinery, and hand tools to cut and shape materials to precise specifications.

Operate a range of hand and power tools to ensure the secure assembly of assigned projects.

Verify the precision of your output by using levels, framing squares, and tape measures to help maintain high-quality standards for the entire team.

Execute the installation and fitting of doors and windows.

Adhere to all established safety protocols to help foster a secure and tidy workspace for all employees.

Complete additional tasks as required by the production team.
Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in reading a tape measure.

Experience working comfortably with sheet metal.

Capacity to interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions.

Prior background as a framer, drywall technician, skilled carpenter, or general laborer.

Knowledge of various carpentry materials and standard installation techniques.

Strong grasp of basic mathematics and tape measure accuracy.

Ability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended durations.
Physical and Mental Demands
Candidates must possess the necessary physical stamina and mental focus to complete daily tasks. This role involves frequent lifting of 10 to 50 pounds and requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and bend while operating various tools and controls.
