What You'll Do

As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play an essential role in providing compassionate patient care and creating an exceptional client experience. Responsibilities include:

Assisting with patient assessments and physical examinations
Performing phlebotomy and catheter placement
Supporting radiology procedures using proper safety protocols
Monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures
Assisting with perioperative nursing care
Performing routine dental prophylaxis
Running and assisting with basic laboratory procedures
Educating clients and supporting them throughout their pets' care
Collaborating with doctors and teammates to ensure smooth daily hospital operations

What We're Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant who is:

Passionate about providing exceptional patient care

Experience performing the clinical skills listed above is preferred.

Schedule

Full-Time

32-38 hours per week
Four shifts per week
Rotating Saturdays

Part-Time

Opportunities may also be available

Hospital Hours

Tuesday-Friday: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM-3:00 PM

Compensation

$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience.
