A Day in the Life
As an Administrative Assistant at Sunrise Engineering, each day unfolds with a sense of purpose and excitement. Our Fillmore Administrative Assistant will handle a variety of responsibilities including:
Office Administration. In this role, you help create a positive first impression by answering calls, greeting visitors, and supporting a welcoming office environment. You will manage office expenses and account reconciliations and schedule conference rooms as needed. You will also maintain supplies, paper, soda, treats, and other inventory. This role includes coordinating celebrations and employee events, along with assisting with travel arrangements such as flights, hotels, and rental cars.
Project Administration. Your support helps keep projects moving by printing, binding, and uploading plans, amendments, and other project materials as needed. You will help facilitate inspection calls, schedule building inspections, and order project supplies. You will also assist with certification procurement and tracking and provide backup support for billing and accounts receivable.
Contract Administration. You will create simple project contracts as well as manage and link signed contracts to the appropriate project files. You will work closely with Project Managers to support contract fulfillment. This role helps keep project documentation organized, accurate, and accessible.

Qualifications for success include:

High school diploma or GED

0-3 years of Administrative/office experience

Proficient in MS Office

Ability to work independently

Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.

Ability to regularly spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers

Work experience in database entry

Written and verbal communication skills

Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, establish priorities, organize, and plan work
