Paraplanner / Client Service Associate

Join our dynamic financial services team as a Paraplanner / Client Service Associate, where your expertise will empower clients to achieve their financial goals through comprehensive planning and tailored advice. In this role, you will serve as a vital support partner to financial advisors, ensuring the delivery of precise, compliant, and insightful financial plans. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help foster strong client relationships and drive the success of our wealth management initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in financial analysis, estate planning, investment management, and more within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.

About our firm:

At Midwest Financial Planning Group, our success hinges on our expertise in financial management, comprehensive planning, and outstanding client service. We are seeking a Client Service Associate to assist in a variety of tasks related to financial planning, and client case preparation. You'll work closely with our Private Wealth Advisors and Service Advisors and other team members to play a crucial role in enhancing the client experience. Your focus will include, but is not limited to, entering client data into financial planning software, generating reports, conducting financial analysis, and developing presentations. You will report to the Director of Client Services.

Essential duties:

Input initial client information into PX and other financial planning systems for reporting.
Generate supporting reports for client planning, such as CCV, NMCIR, Advisor Reports, and IFLs.
Research financial planning topics to assist the Advisor team with client strategies.
Collaborate with Advisors to develop planning strategies and recommendations for clients.
Create financial plans and assist Advisors in preparation and presentation.
Prepare necessary paperwork and documentation for client meetings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Develop and analyze financial plans, agendas, and illustrations for client meetings. Maintain organized records of client information and planning documents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Ensure compliance in all actions within your role.
Actively participate in team meetings to enhance the team culture, productivity, and expertise.
Maintain continuing education (CE) for all active licenses and designations.
Provide backup support for insurance service, new business, and financial planning as needed.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree required.
2+ years of experience in a financial institution preferred.
Basic knowledge of financial services with the ability to expand your expertise.
Effective communication skills to convey complex information clearly to clients and team members face-to-face, over the phone or via email.
Strong attention to financial details.
Professional office skills.
Ability to make independent, sound decisions.
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work well with others.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
