Job Summary

Duties
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication and installation of cabinets and wood fixtures
- Measure spaces accurately and cut materials using hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to meet project specifications
- Assemble cabinet components with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit, finish, and functionality
- Install cabinets, doors, fixtures, and other woodwork on-site with precision and safety compliance
- Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, sanding, staining, or painting to achieve a polished look
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely while adhering to power tool safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects within scope
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, carpentry, or woodworking within residential or commercial settings
- Strong knowledge of construction plans, technical drawings, and interpreting technical specifications
- Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), and woodworking machines safely and effectively
- Familiarity with wood construction materials such as plywood, Melamine, MDF, solid wood panels, siding materials, and related products
- Experience with framing carpentry, metal stud framing, rebar installation or plastering is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or confined spaces as needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for interpreting construction plans and collaborating with team members

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
