About Altera Orthodontics
Altera Orthodontics is a growing, patient-focused orthodontic practice serving Royersford, Limerick, Spring-Ford, Phoenixville, and surrounding communities.
We already have strong marketing ideas, community opportunities, sponsorships, vendors, and practice-development strategies in place. We are looking for an experienced, organized, and results-driven professional to take ownership of execution, follow-up, and measurable results.
This is not primarily a front-desk position or a basic social-media posting role.
Position Overview
The Marketing & Community Outreach Coordinator will help increase awareness of the practice, build local relationships, generate qualified new-patient opportunities, and ensure that marketing projects are completed consistently.
This is a hands-on role combining digital marketing, community outreach, business development, event coordination, project management, and performance tracking.
The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, meeting new people, making outbound calls, visiting local organizations, creating and coordinating content, managing vendors, and being accountable to measurable goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build relationships with schools, PTOs, dental offices, pediatric offices, businesses, sports organizations, and community groups
- Conduct outreach through phone calls, emails, social media, and in-person visits
- Coordinate community events, school programs, sponsorships, and local partnerships
- Develop and maintain a monthly marketing and outreach calendar
- Manage social-media planning, captions, scheduling, and content coordination
- Collect patient testimonials, photos, videos, and success stories
- Support Google review and patient-referral initiatives
- Coordinate with the practice’s videographer, website team, advertising partners, and other vendors
- Assist with website, Google Business Profile, email-marketing, and digital-marketing updates
- Track where new-patient inquiries and consultations originate
- Measure marketing performance and identify which activities produce meaningful results
- Provide weekly reports showing completed work, outreach activity, results, and next steps
- Take ownership of projects from planning through completion without constant supervision
Minimum Experience Required
This is not an entry-level marketing position.
Applicants must have at least two years of paid professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Marketing
- Community outreach
- Public relations
- Communications
- Business development
- Event coordination
- Partnership development
- Healthcare or professional-services marketing
Customer-service, retail, restaurant, bartending, or hospitality experience may be valuable, but that experience alone does not meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
Applicants should be prepared to provide a specific example of a marketing, outreach, event, partnership, or business-development initiative they personally planned, executed, and measured.
Qualifications
- At least two years of relevant paid professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from planning through completion
- Strong professional writing and verbal communication skills
- Confidence initiating conversations with businesses and community organizations
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently while following an agreed strategy
- Proficiency with social media, spreadsheets, cloud-based software, and digital tools
- Comfort tracking performance through clear goals and key performance indicators
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local outreach
- Ability to work approximately 30–33 hours per week
- Willingness to occasionally adjust the work schedule for community events or outreach activities
Knowledge of Royersford, Limerick, Spring-Ford, Phoenixville, and surrounding communities is helpful but not required.
How Success Will Be Measured
The position will include a structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day introductory plan.
Performance will be evaluated based on:
- Marketing and outreach projects completed on time
- Number and quality of community contacts and follow-ups
- New school, business, dental, and community partnerships
- Events and sponsorships successfully coordinated
- Patient testimonials and reviews generated
- Accuracy of new-patient referral-source tracking
- Qualified inquiries and consultations connected to marketing efforts
- Growth in new-patient consultation opportunities
- Organization, reliability, initiative, and follow-through
The goal is not simply to stay busy or post frequently. The goal is to build and operate a consistent, measurable system that brings more qualified families into the practice.
Schedule
This is a full-time position averaging approximately 30–33 hours per week, which aligns with the practice’s normal operating schedule.
Some outreach activities or community events may take place outside regular office hours. When appropriate, the weekly schedule may be adjusted to accommodate those responsibilities.
Compensation
- $23.00–$28.00 per hour
- Compensation will be based on relevant experience, demonstrated ability, and overall fit
