Join a fast-paced orthopedic team where your attention to detail helps patients move one step closer to the care they need. As our Authorization Specialist, you’ll play a key role in securing prior authorizations for imaging, durable medical equipment, injections, and other ancillary services. This full-time position is ideal for someone with at least one year of medical-office administration experience who enjoys problem-solving, coordinating with insurance carriers, and supporting a smooth patient experience from start to finish.
Job Type: Full-time, 40 hrs per week (with PTO and benefits)
Schedule: Monday through Friday
Pay: $19 - $21.50 per hour DOE

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, insurance verification, and office administration.
Responsibilities include:

Management of ancillary authorizations, for all clinic providers

Obtaining and following up of authorizations

Answering patient phone calls pertaining your job responsibilities

Answering back-office questions pertaining to your job responsibilities

Faxing orders to other facilities with notes re. authorizations

Management of insurance eligibility worklist
