Now Hiring: Clinical Social Worker / Psychotherapist (LMSW-C or LLMSW-C)
Full-Time or Part-Time | In-Person & Telehealth | Michigan-Based | W2 Position

Living in the Pause is a growing private practice in Michigan led by co-owners Laura Macias and Kasie White, who bring over 40 years of combined experience as seasoned Clinical Social Workers. Our mission is to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—by offering compassionate, trauma-informed care for children, adolescents, and adults.

We are currently seeking Clinical Social Workers (LMSW-C or LLMSW-C) who are passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and who thrive in a supportive, collaborative, and flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on behavioral health, addiction counseling, PTSD care, and crisis management.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective case management.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including EMR systems for medical records management.
Engage in clinical research activities to enhance service delivery and contribute to the field of social work.
Participate in diagnostic evaluations and provide recommendations for ongoing treatment or referrals as necessary.
Participate in supervision meetings and case collaboration

Experience
The ideal candidate will have:

Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention strategies.
Proficiency CPT coding, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding practices, and data collection for clinical purposes.
Strong skills in patient care coordination, including intake processes and managing medical documentation effectively.
