The Director of Quality and Compliance provides leadership and oversight for quality improvement, accreditation, compliance, risk management, performance outcomes, and regulatory standards across the organization. This role ensures adherence to contractual, licensing, and accreditation requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives, monitoring clinical outcomes, supporting data-informed decision making, and promoting recovery-based, person-centered, and culturally competent practices. The Director of Quality and Compliance serves as a key resource for advancing organizational excellence, safety, and service quality.
What You’ll Do
- Lead quality improvement, compliance, and performance management initiatives
- Monitor and analyze clinical, operational, safety, and satisfaction outcomes
- Oversee accreditation readiness and compliance with CARF standards
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OIG, CMS, AFC Licensing, Medicaid, and other regulatory requirements
- Develop and monitor quality improvement plans, corrective action plans, and risk mitigation strategies
- Review trends, analyze data, and provide recommendations to executive leadership
- Support incident management, investigations, root cause analyses, and regulatory reporting
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve service delivery and outcomes
- Develop and deliver training related to quality, compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with policy development, audits, site reviews, and performance improvement activities
- Partner with leadership to establish benchmarks, performance indicators, and reporting measures
- Support electronic medical record optimization, data integrity, and clinical informatics initiatives

What You'll Bring
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Public Health, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Experience with CARF accreditation, licensing, and healthcare compliance programs
- Experience developing and delivering training content
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum four years of quality, compliance, or related healthcare experience
- Experience working in clinical or behavioral health programs
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies and regulatory compliance requirements
- Experience with data analytics, clinical informatics, and outcomes reporting
- Strong proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), Microsoft Office Suite, and reporting tools
- Ability to develop policies, conduct audits, and implement corrective action plans
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
