SUMMARY
A Job Coach is an individual who helps people with disabilities learn the specific requirements of the job, learn work-related activities and requirements, and learn appropriate workplace behaviors. Schedules may vary with per diem hours (0 to 30 hours per week) depending on the volume of Job Coach Requests and the Job Coach’s availability. This position does not offer Peckham Staff benefits and locations of assignments vary throughout the Greater Lansing area.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school Diploma or equivalent

Excellent communication skills

Access to reliable transportation

Ability to communicate fluently in American Sign Language (ASL) to provide program supports, instruction, guidance, and services to individuals who use ASL as their primary or preferred language.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
