Full Job Description

One rep, one territory, your call on how to attack it.

There's no inbound and no one handing leads—but you won't be starting blind. You'll have [account history / market data / the regional install base], a CRM you run the way you want, and lab support to qualify an opportunity before you've spent a day on it. Which accounts are worth your time is your call. The territory rewards picking well more than it rewards driving far.

Enerco Corporation is looking for a Territory Sales Consultant to own the market. Industrial and commercial plants across the region are losing money to scale and corrosion in their boilers and cooling systems, and most have never had it measured. You find them, test their systems, and show them the numbers.

We've been at this for 49 years and run a full wet lab, so when you tell a plant manager what a program will save him, we can prove it instead of promising it. That's most of why our reps win against bigger names.

Here's what the job actually looks like:

Pick your targets. Research the region, qualify hard, and spend your days on the plants most likely to close. Nobody will assign you accounts or tell you which ones to walk away from.
Run the full cycle. First call through signature — scoping, testing, product demonstrations, pricing, negotiation, close. You'll have pricing latitude within range.
Design the program. You're trusted with what the customer actually gets. Our chemists and lab back the recommendation; the call is yours.
Juggle a live board. You'll have many opportunities to move at once at different stages. CRM is your instrument for that, not a reporting chore — track it however keeps you sharp.
Build a book that compounds. Once a plant is on a program it almost never leaves. What you land in year one is still paying you in year four, which means the plan you run in month nine matters as much as the one you run in month one.
Use marketing as leverage. Tell them what you need for your market and they'll build it. You set the direction.

Nobody will structure your week or sit in on your calls. That's not because we're loose — our chemistry, our lab, and our documentation are tight, and you'll need them to be. It's your plan, executed with real technical backup behind it. You'll report to the sales manager, who you'll talk to about your opportunities and assist you as needed.

This isn't a fit if you want a manager checking in daily, a team around you, or someone else deciding your priorities. Some people do their best work that way and there's nothing wrong with it. This isn't that job.
